Spiral Bowl

A bowl made in white stoneware clay handmade on my potter's wheel and finished with a clear glaze. 
This elegant bowl is perfect for porridge, pasta, soups, display or holding trinkets. It features hand painted motifs of blue spirals, reminiscent of waves, and of ancient Pictish artwork. The design was achieved through hand painting high fire pigments onto the pottery and scratching in the details. 
The bowl is approximately 6cm high, by 16.5cm diameter.
